Originally from Scotland, Carla is a Registered Nurse who completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Dundee in 2020. Upon moving to Western Australia, she joined the WA Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service (WAKMAS) as a Clinical Nurse.
Carla is passionate about compassionate, patient-centred care and supporting people throughout their melanoma journey. She particularly values building trusting relationships with patients and their families, providing clear education and communication, and working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
Outside of nursing, Carla enjoys travelling, meeting new people and making the most of life in Western Australia.
