Dr Sandeep B is a fully accredited Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Perth, Western Australia. He is dual board-certified in Plastic Surgery in both India and Australia, bringing a truly global perspective to our practice.
After completing his medical degree, Dr Sandeep undertook competitive and rigorous specialist training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh – a premier centre of excellence in India. He graduated top of his class in 2017, earning his MCh degree. Subsequently developing a particular focus on reconstructive surgery, especially trauma and oncologic reconstruction.
In pursuit of further excellence, Dr Sandeep relocated to Australia in 2017. He undertook multiple advanced plastic surgery fellowships across the country, including two years in reconstructive surgery, one year in hand surgery, and one year in burns surgery. In 2020, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic Surgery.
Dr Sandeep has held Consultant roles at Fremantle Hand Unit and Royal Perth Hospital. He currently serves as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Fiona Stanley Hospital and as a Consultant Burns Surgeon in the State Burns Service across both Fiona Stanley and Perth Children’s Hospital. He is among the few surgeons in Western Australia performing complex Brachial Plexus Surgery, collaborating closely with renowned surgeon Dr Alex O’Beirne.
Respected for his surgical expertise, leadership, and mentorship, Dr Sandeep is a valued member of several multidisciplinary teams, including:

- WAKMAS (Melanoma Service)
- Lymphoedema Surgery
- Brachial Plexus and Spinal Rehabilitation
In addition to reconstructive work, Dr Sandeep has a strong interest in aesthetic surgery, particularly Liposuction following weight loss, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), breast reduction, and gynecomastia surgery.
An active contributor to the academic community, Dr Sandeep has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and presented extensively at national and international conferences. He is also a passionate educator—serving as faculty with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for non-technical surgical skills (TIPS) and as course convenor for plastic surgery flap dissection and skin cancer surgery training for general practitioners at CTEC/UWA.
International Recognition
Dr Sandeep is recognised internationally for his contributions to plastic surgery. He has been an invited faculty member at:
- Asia Pacific Microsurgery Congress (Delhi, 2025)
- Asia Pacific Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (Melbourne 2021, Singapore 2024, India 2025)
- World Congress for Reconstructive Microsurgery (Barcelona, 2025)
He has also been selected to represent the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons at an upcoming international symposium in New Orleans, USA.
Dr Sandeep plays an active role in several multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), including:

- Head and Neck Oncology MDT at Fiona Stanley Hospital
He collaborates closely with oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists to ensure reconstruction is tailored to the individual’s clinical needs and personal preferences, helping restore both form and function wherever possible.
