Dr Duncan Taylor

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr Taylor is a specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

From 2007 to 2014, Dr Taylors completed his specialist plastic surgery training and gained experience in skin and melanoma at Christie Hospital, Manchester, UK.

After completing his 7-year Specialist Plastic Surgery Training in 2014, Dr Taylor pursued two specialist Fellowships in Microsurgical Reconstruction, one at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospitals (Australia, WA) in 2014 and the other at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital (UK) in 2015.
Upon returning to Perth in 2016, he took up consultant positions at Fiona Stanley and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He continued his work in surgical oncology, focusing on skin and melanoma cancer management and microsurgical reconstruction. Dr Taylor has been the MDT Skin Cancer chairperson for both South and North Metropolitan since 2016.

Dr Taylor established his private practice in 2021, operating in numerous Private Hospitals in North and South Metro regions and Bunbury. He holds public hospital positions at Sir Charles Gairdner and Fiona Stanley Hospitals. Dr Taylor is enthusiastic about teaching and continues to do so through instructional courses.
